This is Anthony Sweet's first season with the Texas Tornado. Sweet started playing hockey at the age of seven and says that playing for Dave Dorsey has been the most influential part of his hockey development. Sweet, also known as "Sweetie" to many teammates, says his most memorable hockey moment was going to Junior B Nationals two years in a row. Sweet's favorite NHL team is the Dallas Stars and his hockey idol is Ed Belfour.

Besides playing hockey, Sweet enjoys playing baseball and watching the UFC. He will listen to any kind of music that he is feeling. His favorite type of food is seafood but you will find him eating cheeseburgers in the arena this season. Sweet plans to attend college and continue to play hockey at the highest level he can.
