This is David Rigatti's first season with the Texas Tornado. Rigatti started playing hockey at the age of six. He credits watching Mario play as being very influential in his hockey development. Rigatti's most memorable hockey moment was scoring the game-winning goal against a high school rival as a freshman. Rigatti's favorite NHL team is the Pittsburgh Penguins and his hockey idol is Pavel Datsyuk.

Besides playing hockey, Rigatti enjoys playing golf, basketball and swimming. He likes all kinds of music and his favorite artist is Kid Cudi. Rigatti's favorite foods are pasta and chicken and his favorite arena food is soft pretzels. Rigatti hopes to play play professional hockey or become a medical doctor.
