This is Andrew Mueller's first season with the Texas Tornado. Mueller, also known as "A.J." to many teammates, started playing hockey at the age of five. He says Wayne Gretzky has been very influential in his hockey development. Mueller's most memorable hockey moment was when he scored a game winning goal at the state finals game.  Mueller's favorite NHL team is the Detroit Red Wings and his hockey idol is Steve Yzerman.

Besides playing hockey, Mueller enjoys hanging out with friends. He likes to listen to country music and says his favorite artist is Phil Vassar. Mueller's favorite food is spaghetti and his favorite arena food is Buffalo Wings. Mueller hopes to become Division I hockey player.
