This is James Poston's first season with the Texas Tornado. Poston started playing hockey at the age of three. He says his numerous hockey coaches such as Bob Truax, Real Turcotte, Scott Bjugstad and Jabad Askerov have been very influential in his hockey development. Poston's most memorable hockey moment was winning Michigan and Ohio State Championship Titles as well as National Championship appearances and medals. Poston's favorite NHL team is the Detroit Red Wings and his hockey idol is Pavel Datsyuk. 

Besides playing hockey, Poston enjoys fishing and golfing. His favorite kind of music is country. Poston's favorite foods are Italian and Mexican food and his favorite arena food is hot dogs. Poston looks forward to playing hockey for Coach Curtale and the Texas Tornado and hopes to attend school and develop into a professional hockey player.
