This is Justin Jones' first season with the Texas Tornado. Jones, or better known to his teammates as "JJ", started playing hockey at the age of 11. Jones' most memorable hockey moment was finishing second in the U18 nationals with the Dallas Stars.  Jones' favorite NHL team is the Detroit Red Wings and his hockey idol is Johan Franzen.

Besides playing hockey, Jones enjoys playing lacrosse, soccer and basketball. He listens to all kinds of music and his favorite artist is Blink-182. Jones' favorite food is spaghetti, and you can find him snacking on hot dogs in the arena this season with a slushy to wash it down, as it is his favorite "arena" food. Jones aspires to play Division I college hockey.
