This is Kevin McLean's first season with the Texas Tornado. McLean started playing hockey at the age of six. He says his dad and grandfather have been very influential in his hockey development. McLean's most memorable hockey moment was winning Nationals last year. McLean's favorite NHL team is the Detroit Red Wings and his hockey idol is Bobby Orr.

Besides playing hockey, McLean enjoys hanging out with friends and enjoying off-time. His favorite kind of music is rap and his favorite artist is Young Buck. McLean's favorite food is steak and his favorite arena food is bosco sticks. McLean hopes to contribute to a winning team and play Division I hockey.
