This is Joe Adam's first season with the Texas Tornado. Adams started playing hockey at the age of six and says his parents were very influential in his hockey development. Adams most memorable hockey moment was winning nationals with LA Selects in 2005/2006 and also getting drafted to Van in the WHL. Adams' favorite NHL team is the Anaheim Ducks and his hockey idol is Scott Niedermayer.

Besides playing hockey, Adams enjoys playing beach volleyball in his spare time. He enjoys listening to all kinds of music and says his favorite artist is Rebelution. Adams' favorite food is sushi and you will find him eating hot dogs in the arena this season, as it is his favorite "arena" food. Adams hopes to play Division one hockey.
